Over half the worlds population lives on less than $2 a day.

Over half the world's population  lives on less than 2 dollars a day. 2 DOLLARS. 2 OF EM. 2. I mean I spend at least a hundred a day, at least. I recorded the amount of money I spend in a day and compared it to a basic spending of people in poverty in developing countries. Over 2.7 billion people in the world live on 2 dollars or less a day. That may sound impossible, or like hell for those of us living in a rich country such as Canada. There's much more nuance to it, to that life, than images of hungry kids with tin cups might suggest. A new study of the planet’s poorest billions finds a lot of sophistication among those poor in handling money. They don’t have much so they have to stretch it, save it, borrow and lend. For food, a home, even retirement On two bucks a day. We might learn something and actually be grateful of our things. $2 a Day Challenge: Poverty's like living on less than $2 a day. Nearly half the world's population lives under this international poverty line. Lots more live just barely above it. Just $2 a day for food, housing, school, transportation, medical emergencies, and all other expenses. Because of this, many people struggle to meet basic needs such as food and medicine. Hunger affects over 1 billion people and is the cause of these: insufficient income, malnourished and weakened immune systems and many more. The $2 a Day Challenge invites you to feel a bit of what life is like for the majority of people living in developing nations by eating on less than two dollars a day for one week. No other living expenses – just food. There are just three simple rules: 1. Spend only $2 per day per person on all food and drinks. 2. You can only eat what you buy during the week of the challenge – no stocking up on food the week before! 3. If you spend more than $2 one day, simply deduct the amount you went over from the next day’s expenses. I felt it would be interesting if I myself recorded how much I regularly spend in a day.

- 2 dollars worth of water from morning face wash.Wow! I already spent just dollars! - hair 15 dollars of uses - 1 dollar worth of toilet paper - breakfast food :$25 - bus money :$1.75 - 7 dollars supplies are used up - lunch money :$10 - 3 dollars of supplies are used up
- for hygienic reasons. I used up 10 dollars of it. Including my lotion, hand sanitizer and etc. - used bus ticket: 1.75 - after school snack: 6.34 - malling: 30.45 at regular - 20 dollars worth of food - 13 dollar dessert - 10 dollars of water for bath
This equals to about 131.54 dollars I use in one day! D: I use $129.54 more than a a majority of people in the world.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

Do you recognize these two? Probably have right? Well just in case you haven't, this is Albert Einstein and Adolf Hitler. These two men are brilliant and have used thee knowledge to change the world. How they used it however, change the world either for the better or for worse. Einstein discovered and suggested many things. He changed our world. He taught us so many new things and has improve our world for the better. Hitler however, made his way up society so quickly and was very intelligent, otherwise he wouldn't have left a mark on the world as so. He has succeed in killing many people and I think he's soooo smart. He did all this himself. He got this far and he used his power efficiently, unfortunately he did it for the worse. He left a mark, but not one to be proud of. But they both are very smart and this is proof that intelligence can change the world.

Many children work 20 hour days in harsh conditions.

People die everyday, because they can’t afford medicine to cure simple diseases.

Statistics show that the human body should be able to last for 190 years, so we all die young. But people like this die way too young.
